NSS Kottayam

The inauguration of the NSS activities of Kottayam district is scheduled to be held on 18 June 2016 at MT seminary HSS Kottayam. Four volunteers and the programme officer from a unit must attend this programme . Other  main programmes of the day includes:

• Environment Seminar & Poster designing competition.
• Distribution of prizes to top 10 NSS units which excelled in social service activities in the year 2015-16.
• Honouring the programme officers who completed 3 years of service as NSS Programme Officer.
• Sri. Ommen Chandy, Sri. Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan, Kottayam RDD, Municipal Chairperson and DHSE NSS Programme Co-ordinator have condescended to attend this programme.

NB:

1. Registration starts at 9.00 A.M itself & no registration fees.
2. Volunteers must bring lunch.
3. One poster on the topic  “Environment Protection and its need”  from each NSS unit should be handed over at registration time. Best three will be given prizes in the meeting.
4. A minimum of 40 volunteers should attend the programme from MT, MD, Holyfamily,Baker,SH Mount,Govt. Model and Mount Carmel School.  They will be permitted to leave only after the programme closes at 4.30pm.
5. Volunteers must wear school uniform.

Those programme officers who completed 3 year of service as NSS Programme Officer  should contact Dist. Convener immediately and send a passport size photo, full name & school address through e-mail at the earliest.
